Colectivo Cine Mujer (1975-1987) was a Latin American women filmmaker group which originated from Mexico City’s radical student movements. Their films focused on shifting narratives of womanhood through a revolutionary feminist framework. Giving women a central voice, the collective is considered as an essential part of the New Mexican Cinema movement.
