Abby Cohen
Abigail (Abby) Cohen is a Master of Arts candidate at the Jackson Institute for Global Affairs. She is studying international development, with a regional focus on Latin America. Abby received her B.A. in Economics and Hispanic studies from Dartmouth College. After graduation, she served in the Peace Corps as a Community Economic Development Volunteer in southwestern Paraguay. Abby worked closely with local youth to develop their leadership and entrepreneurship skills, and she facilitated various community development projects with local counterparts. Upon returning to the U.S., Abby continued pursuing a career in the international development sector, working for two USAID implementing partners, Democracy International and Chemonics International. She provided home office program management support for various development programs in Latin America and Asia, primarily in the economic growth and democracy, rights, and governance sectors.
