Alberto Tordesillas Torres

Alberto Tordesillas Torres is a Master of Environmental Management student as a “La Caixa” scholar at Yale School of the Environment. Alberto is originally from Spain and holds a double BSc in Agricultural and Forestry Engineering from Technical University of Madrid. He has experience in international trade of forest products and agricultural investments, both in Spain and Latin America. Last summer he interned at the Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) of the United Nations. At Yale his main interest is devoted to the development of public policies in the agriculture and forestry sector. He is particularly passionate about the applications of data science and econometrics to better inform policy decisions. He hopes to work at an international level after graduation.
