Angela Zorro Medina

Angela Zorro Medina is a doctoral candidate at Yale Law School and the Department of Sociology of the University of Chicago. At Yale, Angela has also been a Kauffman Fellow in Law and Economics at the John M. Olin Center and a Teaching Fellow at the departments of Economics and Political Sciences. Her research focuses on criminal law, criminal procedure, empirical legal studies, law and economics, stratification, inequality, and the sociology of law. Angela has also served as an external consultant to the Colombian Ministry of Justice, Deutsche Gesellschaft Fur Internationale Zusammmenarbeit (GIZ), the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID), and the Inter-American Bank of Development, in projects related to prison conditions, criminal law and economic development.
