Claudia Sorais Castañeda

Master of Communication with a specialty in the dissemination of science and culture degree, Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente (ITESO). She served as the director of education and artistic development at the Tamaulipas Institute for Arts and Culture, 2013-2016. Since 2000, she has lectured at the undergraduate level at the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences from Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas. She is pursuing a doctorate in Critical Gender Studies at Universidad Iberoamericana Ciudad de México (UIA-CDMX). Her research interests revolve around the construction and accumulation of prestige in the literary and artistic fields from gender perspectives.
