Gilberto Morales Arroyo

Research Professor, Department of Sociology, Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana Azcapotzalco. Gilberto Morales Arroyo has a PhD and MA in Political sociology and gender studies from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana-Azcapotzalco and has a degree in sociology from UNAM. He is part of the National System of Researchers. He worked as a researcher at Instituto de Investigaciones Sociales, Universidad de Baja California. His current research Project is an effort to constitute a feminist sociology of transgression, based on the sociology of deviation, feminism and psychoanalysis, it proposes to provide theoretical and epistemological content for concepts to enable us to understand the phenomenon of the rupture of the social order. Dr. Gilberto Morales Arroyo has taught undergraduate and graduate level courses on political theory, identities, sociology of violence, methodology, feminism and gender perspective.
