Isalia Nava-Bolaños
Researcher at the UNAM Economic Research Institute. With an undergraduate degree in Economics, she has a MA in Demographics and PhD in Population Studies by the Colegio de México. In 2012, she won first place in the population research category of the Gustavo Cabrera Acevedo Award, given by the Colegio de México. She was awarded the 2017 National University Distinction for Young Academics in the area of research in economic-business sciences. Member of the National Research System Level I. Her research and publications center on demographics and economics; economic impact of population change; economics and population aging, as well as gender and economics.
