Ricardo Aguilar

Ricardo is a junior in Pierson College born and raised in Pompano Beach, Florida. He is majoring in Global Affairs studying transnationalism, globalization, and democratization in Latin America. Since his parents migrated from Peru, he has a strong connection to and interest in his heritage. He is also passionate about community organizing as a tool for social change and wants to examine its transnational capacity in South America. Despite the virtual setting of the past year, he maintained his role as MEChA de Yale's Co-Moderator, is a fresh tap for Sabrosura, and interned with Make the Road Connecticut over the summer.
