Rosario Aparicio López
In 2018 Rosario Aparicio was incorporated to the work crew of Seminario sobre Trabajo y Desigualdades (TraDes) of El Colegio de México as a postdoctoral fellowship. Her research revolves around the intersections between gender and ethnicity: gender violence and ethnicity, and gender, ethnicity and labor markets. Currently, she is part of two research projects, on popular economy and indigenous women, and on rights of workers in digital platforms in Brazil. She has a P.h.D. and Master’s degree in Demography by Universidade Estadual de Campinas (Brazil) and a degree on Economics by UNAM. She has taugth several courses in college, and training workshops on gender violence. Rosario Aparicio is General Coordinator of the Red de Demografía de los Pueblos Indígenas y Afrodescendientes de la Asociación Latinoamericana de Población (Red PIAFAL).
