Clark Alejandrino (PhD Georgetown) is Assistant Professor of History at Trinity College where he teaches Chinese, Pacific, and Environmental History. Alejandrino researches and writes about the climate and animal history of late imperial and modern China. His talk is based on his completed book manuscript on the historical typhoon spaces of South China and the importance of doing high-resolution climate history.
