Shiro Kuriwaki

Shiro Kuriwaki is Assistant Professor of Political Science, and Resident Fellow at the Institution of Social and Policy Studies. His research seeks to understand the mechanics of democratic representation in American politics. This research agenda primarily improves upon the measurement of electoral behavior and public opinion, and studies how individual behavior aggregates to geographic districts, elected representatives, and public policy.  His published work in political science and statistics has appeared in Nature, American Political Science Review, American Journal of Political Science, Science Advances, and Harvard Data Science Review.
