I work as a Copy Editor at the Center for Gender Studies and Research of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). I studied my major in English Literature at UNAM and I hold a Master Degree in Japanese Studies from El Colegio de México. I have worked as a teacher, copywriter, editor and literary translator for more than 15 years. My research interests are related to contemporary Japanese, Mexican and anglophone literatures written by women, read from a gender perspective. I have also coordinated a Reading Club and a Seminar on literature written by Asian women.
