I am a first-year in JE whose interest in Latin American & Iberian Studies started in high school where I did research on how the characteristics unique to a country’s movies and television series can act as a microcosm for their culture (with a focus on Spain and Uruguay). In college, I hope to expand my domestic research on the innovation in and history of housing for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to different Spanish-speaking regions.
