Chisato Kimura
Chisato is a JD student at Yale Law School who is broadly interested in using Third World Approaches to International Law (TWAIL) perspectives to further human rights and racial justice. She is particularly interested in the ways legal systems including the inter-American system for the protection of human rights (“IAHRS”) can be leveraged by advocates to progressively protect the rights of marginalized communities in Latin America, such as the rights of Indigenous communities.
