David Alzate

Council on Latin American & Iberian Studies

David is an MPP student at the Yale Jackson School of Global Affairs. He was born and raised in Quito, Ecuador. He is the co-founder of Jackson Latinoamerica, the Jackson School's first regional representation student organization. David spent four years working in international development at the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), where he advised governments in Ecuador, Peru, Mexico, Dominican Republic, and Spain on the use of evidence from randomized controlled trials.
