Devin Osborne

A native New Havenite, Devin Osborne came to The Yale School of Environment to study resiliency at the same moment that Hurricanes Irma and Maria struck the Caribbean. He volunteered with Professor Geballe and Professor Alark Saxena who coordinated with other dedicated students to pursue projects to assist in the area. He has been pursuing engagements related to the region since . These projects began the process of interrogating how best to assist areas with the resources and capabilities that exist at the School of The Environment, and in many instances, across the University. He's fascinated with the question of what the evolving role of academia should be in world, both as it pertains to the impacts of climate change, and de-colonization.
