Ellie Surman

Ellie is a senior in Trumbull College. As a comparative literature major, she is on the the intensive language track, studying Arabic and Spanish literatures; she is also completing a Modern Middle Eastern Studies major. At the moment, she is particularly interested in literary memories of al-Andalus in modern-day Spain. Outside of class, she is involved with Accent Multilingual Magazine and volunteering at IRIS (Integrated Refugee & Immigrant Services).
