Helen Teixeira is a Brazilian scholar specializing in the intersection of media, religion, and culture. She earned her bachelor's degree from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais and a master's degree from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Campinas, where her research focused on religious celebrities in digital media and the relationship between Brazilian evangélicos and politics. Currently, she is pursuing a Master of Arts in Religion at Yale Divinity School, with a concentration in Latinx and Latin American Christianity.
