Kathryn Hemmer

Undergraduate Student

Kathryn is a first-year in Pauli Murray studying Political Science with a focus on international relations. Her interests include foreign policy, international development, and migration and displacement. Having studied abroad in southern Spain, Kathryn is particularly curious to explore the relationships between Spain and the U.S. and Latin America. She has previously interned at the Wilson Center’s Environmental Change and Security Program and conducted research for Guinness Record-holder Lexie Alford’s upcoming book on traveling to every country. On campus, Kathryn is the Co-Director of External Partnerships for the Yale International Relations Association and an Effective Altruism Fellow. In her free time, she’s an enthusiastic learner of Spanish, French, and Swahili.
