Luis Guevara-Flores

Luis Guevara-Flores is a sophomore in Jonathan Edwards College and is studying art history. Coming from a Mexican heritage, he is interested in Latin American arts with a specific love for Pre-columbian art. Luis is particularly interested in critically analyzing and reforming the modern-day museum and its interaction with communities, objects, and power, and hopes to work in curation in the future. Outside of the classroom, Luis is on the board for the Yale Hunger and Homelessness Action Project, works as a Gallery Guide at the Yale University Art Gallery, and is involved with Matriculate, Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlán (MEChA), Yale Model United Nations, and more.
