Maria Fernanda Souza Pacheco

Maria Fernanda Pacheco was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro. At Yale, she is a senior studying Neuroscience and Comparative Literature and participating in the Global Health Studies program. She is very interested in neuroscience research and policy interventions underlying early childhood development, particularly in Brazil and other countries in South America. She is also really passionate about Latin American magical realism and intergenerational storytelling as a mechanism of community-building and cultural interconnectedness.
