Meridian Monthy
Meridian is a sophomore in Trumbull college academically
interested in the creation of cultural borders, the history of
international law, and the relationship between film and
globalization. She is at present researching Violence Against
Women in Politics in Latin America, looking at how substantive
representation is impacted by violence structures.
Extracurricularly, she has helped curate the Borders | No Borders
Film Festival (Houston festival focused on Mexico-Texas
relations) and volunteers at immigrant-focused community health
clinics. Outside of class, you can find her writing sketch
comedy, serving on the Dramat Board, or watching old movies.
