Most Venerable Jinwoo and other leaders of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism together with leaders from Dongguk University visited Yale to present a $1 million gift for Buddhist Studies in a visit organized by the Council on East Asian Studies at the MacMillan Center.
Every year, the Khyentse Foundation presents the KF Award for Excellence, which comes with a prize of US$1,500, to a student who has shown exceptional dedication and achievement in the field of Buddhist Studies, as chosen by the faculty of the Department of Religious Studies.
