Alessandro Monsutti, PhD University of Neuchatel, 2002, is coming from Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Switzerland, where he is a Senior Lecturer. He was also Research Fellow at the Program in Agrarian Studies, Yale University, 08-09. His research focuses on Afghanistan and Afghan transnational networks in Pakistan, Iran and Western countries.
