Caleb Loh

Undergraduate Student

Caleb (Davenport '28) is from Singapore and is particularly interested in how small states can survive in a weakening rules-based international order. He has thus developed a strong interest in Greenland, where he spent four weeks of his sophomore summer on a study tour with fieldwork and research components under full funding from the Danish Institute of Study Abroad. His interests include Denmark-Greenland relations, the role of international organizations like the Arctic Council and the Inuit Circumpolar Council, and non-traditional security concerns such as food diversity. He is active in the Yale Debate Association and an alumni of the Peace and Dialogue Leadership Initiative Fellowship.
