Undergraduate Student
Hannah (she/her) is an undergraduate student in Benjamin Franklin College. She was born in New York City and raised in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She is studying Global Affairs and pursuing advanced language study in Spanish, French, Italian, and Portuguese. Hannah is interested in understanding the changing trends in social inclusion, inequality, and populism, particularly relating to rising anti-immigrant sentiments and minority and Roma rights. During her time studying abroad in Spain, Hannah explored the cultural and political histories of various regions of the nation, and she hopes to connect this understanding to current political trends dominating both Spain and the EU as a whole.
