Isobel McClure

Isobel is a student in Pauli Murray College, originally from New York, and is proficient in French as well as Spanish. She will begin to study German during the 2025 fall semester. She is a prospective double major in English and Economics, with a certificate in French. Her coursework allows her to develop a global perspective and further foster her interest in international affairs. 

Alongside language study, she is intrigued by the geopolitical dynamics in Europe, including questions regarding the European Union and the United Kingdom’s economic relationship and international reliance within the region. Outside of the classroom, she covers University policy as a reporter and serves as the Head Copy Editor at the Yale Daily News. She plans to pursue policy-focused study and research in the future.
