Kenny Cheng

Undergraduate Student

Kenny Cheng is a BS/MS candidate studying Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology (MCDB) with a certificate in Data Science at Yale University. Having previously lived in England for seven years, he is interested in how research in Europe is organised and supported, including European research networks and funding ecosystems, open science practices, and biomedical data privacy and governance frameworks that shape collaboration across the European Union. He is particularly interested in how these structures shape who collaborates, how data are shared, and which innovative research questions are prioritised across Europe.

At Yale, Kenny conducts research in RNA biology in the Breaker Lab and is involved in entrepreneurship through Yale Ventures.
