Ruoyu Zhou

Ruoyu Zhou is a Philosophy and Cognitive Science major at Yale University, also pursuing a certificate in Data Science. Originally from China, she completed high school in Singapore and studied French in Paris through a Columbia University language program last summer.

Her philosophical interests lie primarily in the continental philosophy tradition, with a focus on aesthetics and critical theory in the German intellectual canon. Her current research centers on the work of Walter Benjamin, particularly his critiques of power through the lens of critical theory.
