Ruth Foster
PhD Student
Ruth Foster is a PhD student in Religious Studies at Yale University. Her research interests include the history of Jewish-Christian relations; the history of Zionism; and the relationship between modernity and state-building in Europe and the Middle East. At Yale she hopes to examine the relationship between Protestant European churches and Jews in the post-World War II context. Ruth holds an MPhil in Modern European History from Cambridge University; an MTS from Harvard University, where she was a Frank Knox Memorial Fellow; and an MA in Religious Studies from the University of Edinburgh.
