Isobel Maksoudian

Isobel is a rising junior at Yale University majoring in Cognitive Science on the Behavioral Economics track and pursuing a certificate in Global Health Studies. She is interested in the intersection of economics and public health, with a particular focus on how economic and structural factors shape health outcomes and access to care.

As a fellow with the Program in Global Participatory Research and Ethics at the Yale MacMillan Center, Isobel conducts research to identify and evaluate global health fellowships, internships, and research opportunities, contributing to the development of a comprehensive database for students. Her work also explores the ethical considerations surrounding global health opportunities, with a particular interest in their distribution, accessibility, and equity. Through this project, she is interested in better understanding how global health opportunities are made available to students and how they vary across regions and institutions.
