In Novemeber, 2018, the Gilder Lehrman Center for the Study of Slavery, Resistance, and Abolition held its twentieth annual conference since its founding in 1998. During those twenty years the Center has held hundreds of panels, book talks, evening lectures, special events, and “Brown Bag lunch” talks featuring new research from our visiting fellows.
