Planned activities include for the 2025-2026 academic year include:

  • September: the launch of a cohort of student fellows from Yale and partner institutions to develop a series of case studies about regional collaboration on topics including climate, migration, cities, and health.
  • November: an on-campus poster session for students coinciding with COP-30
  • Spring 2026: an academic climate leadership workshop in Cape Town
  • Summer 2026: publication of the case studies developed by the student fellows.
