Fatoumata Sissoko

Fatoumata Sissoko is a current MA student in African Studies at Yale University. She graduated magna cum laude from The College of William & Mary earning her BA in Government and Africana Studies with a concentration in Africa. Her undergraduate academic and scholar-activist work led to her current focus on the interactions between the neocolonial state, institutional mythmaking, and their relationship to both imaginative and physical memoryscapes.
