Qingxuan Wang

Qingxuan “Quinn” Wang (he/they) graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Translation Studies from the Chinese University of Hong Kong at Shenzhen. At Yale, their research focuses on socially embedded transmission of Mahayana Buddhist traditions to and from the medieval Chinese empire. They are also interested in the interfaith dialogues in early modern East Asia and how these dialogues could contribute (counter-)narratives to the histories of science, globalization, and the body. In their spare time, they always enjoy the works of Romantic composers and their latest interpretations. They also love contemporary Chinese poetry and occasionally write their own.
