Alexa Duchesneau
Alexa is Primatologist in the Anthropology Department. Her research focuses on neotropical primates, specifically white-faced capuchin monkeys (Cebus capucinus). She has been working at the Lomas Barbudal field site in Guanacaste, Costa Rica for ~10 years where she conducts research on nutritional ecology, life history and the impacts of major droughts on monkey populations. She aims to continue her research career in the neotropics upon completing her PhD.
