Benedict Reilly

Benedict Reilly is a Master of Divinity candidate interested in 20th and 21st-century liberation theology in Latin America. Ben is particularly interested in the El Salvadoran liberatory tradition, including Ignacio Ellacuria, Rutilio Grande, and Oscar Romero, as well as the exchange of theologies between North America, Latin America, and Europe. Before YDS, Ben worked for a year along the US/Mexico border, providing humanitarian relief to asylum seekers and educating a US audience about migration and border issues. He received his bachelor's degree in theology from Fordham University in the Bronx.
