Diego Suchenski Loustaunau

Diego Suchenski Loustaunau (he/him) studies Humanities and Molecular Biophysics & Biochemistry at Yale College. His academic interests include the rise of fascism in the contemporary United States and Latin America, with an eye towards emerging technocratic regimes. He is interested in illuminating these political shifts alongside longstanding theories in postcolonial studies and aesthetics, hoping to highlight counter-fascist and humanist thought in Latin American social movements. Outside of the classroom, Diego serves on the boards of WYBCx Radio and the Yale Undergraduate Research Association, works as a public school partnerships intern at Yale Pathways, is involved in student organizing, and researches cellular biophysics at the School of Medicine.
