Inês Forjaz de Lacerda

Inês Forjaz de Lacerda is a doctoral student in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at Yale University, where she works comparatively on spaces of Iberian colonial and migrant influence. Her research examines multimodal approaches to literature and the construction of individual and collective senses of self through authorship, emphasizing work emerging from the Portuguese expansion in East and South Asia. Inês holds a BA in English and Comparative Literature from Kenyon College and an MA in Comparative Studies from the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon.
