Isabel Mestey-Colon

Isabel Mestey-Colon studies Global Affairs and History along with a Certificate in Energy Studies at Yale College. Having grown up between with Florida and Puerto Rico, she is fascinated by how societies structure themselves around critical resources, especially the trade-offs between environmental protection and growth. Her academic interested focus on colonial resource acquisition in the Americas (partically around energy materials) as a way to understand the current critical mineral race. 

Isabel has worked in corporate sustainability in Argentina, international relations campus publications, and participated in work groups for Tsai City, Yale Energy Department, and Blue Center.
