Jaime Solares is a Brazilian LGBTQIAP+ architect and urban planner, PhD student at Yale University, with a BArch (2015) and M.Sc. (2020) from the University of São Paulo. Teacher at Escola da Cidade (2020-2021). Coordinator of the LGBTQIA+ axis of the Paulista Heritage Education Network – REPEP (2015-2019). Has articles published in magazines such as ArchDaily and Architectural Journal (China). His research topics are theory and criticism of contemporary architecture, gender, body, and sexuality. He has been an activist for the recognition of the queer memory of Largo do Arouche (São Paulo) since 2016.
