Kate Foglesong
Kate Foglesong is a junior in Branford College, double-majoring in Ethics, Politics, and Economics and Spanish. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, she grew up learning Spanish at an international school. Her academic interests center on the intersection of international business, U.S.–Latin America relations, educational equity, and economic development. At Yale, Kate served as the Secretary-General of Yale Model United Nations Latin America, where she led the first Yale Model UN conference in Mexico City, aimed at expanding access to global educational experiences and diplomacy for students across the Americas. She also studied abroad in Valencia, Spain, and is the Head of Consulting for the Yale Undergraduate Consulting Group, where she has worked with international clients and nonprofits such as Habitat for Humanity. Before Yale, Kate was a tutor with organizations like La Amistad and Outreach360 and researched the impact of influential women throughout Latin American history at Emory University.
