Julia Zhou
Julia Zhou is a first-year East Asian Studies Master's student hailing from Washington, DC. Julia graduated from Princeton with an A.B. in East Asian Studies, where her senior thesis probed the administration of Nanjing's Ginling College and National Central University during the Second Sino-Japanese War. She is interested in the history of higher education and modern science, especially physics and computing, in East Asia. Julia is further interested in Sino-Japanese literary exchanges as they relate to her favorite late-imperial Chinese story collections. In her free time, Julia enjoys playing the piano, paging through special collections, and learning languages (her current project is Classical Mongolian)!
