Minhee Kang, born and raised in Seoul, is a seasoned traveler and passionate explorer of interdisciplinary academic paths, guided by the motto “Work hard, Play hard.” Her pursuits, both inside and outside the classroom, have enhanced her multilingual proficiency and appreciation for intercultural communication. She is particularly interested in the intersection of art, intellectual property, and artificial intelligence.

She holds a Master of Laws in Intellectual Property from Seoul National University; her thesis is titled “Strategies for Utilizing AI Training Data: Data Category Determination Proposal for resolving legal issues.” As for her undergraduate studies, she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a double major in History and Humanities from Korea University.

Minhee’s professional experiences include working as a member of the content team at a Korean entertainment agency, interning at the International Department, participating in WIPO initiatives, and serving as an AI Legal Engineering Specialist. Currently, she is an active member of the WIPO ADR Young.

Beyond her professional endeavors, she has also served as a School Ambassador for Korea University and as an Art Exhibition Planner for a Korean artist.

At Yale, she aims to leverage interdisciplinary research to address challenges faced by the East Asian community, particularly at the intersection of artificial intelligence, intellectual property, and art.
