The Jackson Institute for Global Affairs, in collaboration with knowledge partner McLarty Associates, is delighted to co-host a series of virtual discussions in summer 2020 that will explore the rapidly evolving nature of international relations, as well as the leadership characteristics required to navigate this uncertain world.
Interactive sessions featuring Jackson faculty, senior fellows, and other expert practitioners across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors will focus on great power realignment, U.S.-China relations, and prospects for recovery in the global economy, among other critical areas.
The first conversation in the series, “The Future of Great Power Conflict,” will feature Professor John Lewis Gaddis, Robert A. Lovett Professor of History, Yale University; Professor Oona Hathaway, Gerard C. and Bernice Latrobe Smith Professor of International Law, Yale Law School; and Admiral James Stavridis, former Supreme Allied Commander of NATO and Chair of McLarty Associates’ Board of Counselors.
Ambassador John Negroponte, Jackson Senior Fellow and McLarty Associates Vice Chairman, will provide introductory remarks.
McLarty Associates, an international strategic advisory firm based in Washington, D.C., helps companies and nonprofits manage policy and government issues around the world.
The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
