2025 Yale and Slavery Teachers Institute Cohort Member

I teach American Government, Human Rights, and AP U.S. History at Hall High School in West Hartford, Connecticut. As a part of this summer’s cohort, I aim to create engaging primary source driven learning activities that will encourage and empower students to think critically about the role of slavery and the role of enslaved peoples in the cultural and economic development of the region that they live in.
