Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie ’08 is an internationally acclaimed Nigerian author and poet who is widely recognized for her postcolonial feminist literature. A graduate of Yale's M.A. program in African Studies, she is widely recognized for her influential TED talks and bestselling novel, Dream Count.
During the lecture, Adichie reflected on her family roots, the role of language and culture in her work, and her journey of writing as an African woman.
