Joanne Tan
Born and raised in Singapore, Joanne was awarded an Emile Boutmy scholarship to pursue her BA in Sciences-Po Paris, where she graduated summa cum laude. She then obtained an Msc in Economics (cum laude) at Sciences-Po Paris and Ecole Polytechnique. Currently in her fourth year of graduate studies in Economics, Joanne is researching on the causes and consequences of mismatch in the labor market. At Yale, she will be working on her model of multi-dimensional mismatch in the presence of search frictions. Her ambition is to be a Professor of Economics and to produce pertinent research in the field of Labor Economics.
