Constance Frohly
Constance Frohly is a PhD student in Economics at Sciences Po Paris. Her research combines applied and behavioural economics to study the determinants, mechanisms and consequences of school choice. Her first project leverages the French institutional context to study how school choice affects social segregation and students' academic performance. Her second project investigates households' belief formation about public and private schools and highlights asymmetric beliefs that systematically underestimate public schools.
She holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Global Sustainable Development from the University of Warwick and a double master's degree in Quantitative Methods from Sorbonne and Sciences Po, where her master's thesis was selected as one of the best 2022 Master's Theses in Economics. She has been selected, among other awards, by the LIEPP Young Researcher Program and the ELIPSS Call for PhD Candidates.
Constance also highly enjoys teaching, especially introducing students to mathematical and econometric methods, while fostering a critical approach to statistical reasoning. She has taught at Sciences Po and INSEAD since her master's degree.
