Matheus Goncalves Vilela

Matheus Gonçalves de Oliveira Vilela (he/him) hails from Uberaba, Minas Gerais, Brazil, and currently serves as a Portuguese Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant. He holds a licentiate degree in Modern Languages - Portuguese and English from the Federal University of Triangulo Mineiro. His research focuses on sociolinguistic reactions and perceptions related to phonological variants of the English language within the teaching-learning process. Matheus also has a profound affinity for Brazilian literature and aims to share his culture through arts, literature, sports, language, and music.
